An Interview with Darren Lynch
Director of Indie Horror Film, Ouija

We have a conversation with director Darren Lynch about "Ouija" a film about a dangerous board game.
Lori:
Would you tell us what "Ouija' is about?
Darren: Ouija tells the story of 9 friends who get together for a night out of partying in the woods. Little do they know one of them has other ideas bringing the Ouija board, convincing everyone to play. They open a portal unleashing a series of demons who stalk the group killing them one by one.
Lori: Who will be starring in the film?
Darren: The film stars Conner Lynch, Mark Heap, Roxanne Freeman, Jessica Gaucher-Thompson, Ekau Ghansah, Jodie Russell, Ranveer Bual and Cavan Mcready.
Lori: May we know more about the cast members?
Darren: We have introduced a group of talented newbie actors and actresses making their first appearance in a feature film.
Lori: Other horror films have featured Ouija boards; what will make this one different than those films?
Darren: The way the film is portrayed across to the audience 'curiosity' everybody is curious even when told not to do something you do it even more maybe the film will give out a message to NOT mess with the arts of 'Ouija' and follow our tagline 'No Second Chances'.
Lori: Why did you choose a Ouija board as the subject of your film?
Darren: Like most people i have always been curious, does it work? I hear things and are told not to mess with it but you try to see if it does work, that's what I wanted to portray in "Ouija" everybody knows not to mess with it but they try it just to see, then maybe its too late!
Lori: Would you tell us a bit about some of the special effects used in this movie?
Darren: We had a special effects make-up artist who did a fantastic job on making up the demons in the film and adding to the gore. Without giving too much away we had a few effects with fire in the film.
Lori: What locations are used as settings for the movie?
Darren: We have used a local council estate close to where I live and local woods about ten minutes from the council estate, all based in the city of Derby, UK.
Lori: How far along is the film to being finished?
Darren: We have just gone into post production so I'd say roughly by May to be fully finished.
Lori: Do you have a potential release date?
Darren: Yes we have a release date for this coming Halloween in the US and UK.
Lori: Where will the film premiere?
Darren: The film will premiere in London this summer.
